上周末收到通过联邦快递送来的张学良孙女有关张作霖金币的证明文书，里面详细描述此币的流传情况，并声明此乃张家唯一的一枚50元面额的金币，由于涉及部分家族隐私，且在信封上标有："Confidengtial"字样，故我只能节选部分内容予以公布。此文件已成为本枚金币的重要附件，作为历史文献将伴随这枚金币一起流传于我们的后人！

PRIVILEGED AND CONFIDENTIAL

Zhang Zuolin or Chang Tso-Lin was my great-grandfather and though of course we never met, as he was assassinated over 20 years before my birth, I remember growing up and hearing stories about him and my grandfather and seeing this gold coin amongst other jewels on velvet in a drawer in the dressing room of the master bedroom。My grandmother Fen Tze Zhang，legend had it，brought a few cherished possessions with her when she emigrated to England before the war，including the $50 gold coin.
 
The coin has been a family heirloom of sorts for decades. The family has always known the rarity of this coin as my Father would relay his stories of Great-grandfather minting them，This is the only $50 gold coin that I know that has been in the family.
